Abundance Farm

Abundance Farm

Abundance Farm, a collaboration between Lander-Grinspoon Academy, Congregation B’nai Israel and the Northampton Survival Center, is a Jewish food justice farm and outdoor classroom located adjacent to the LGA campus. Abundance Farm supports local food security, practices food justice and offers a unique, outdoor learning environment where people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds are drawn for nourishment, community, and learning.

LGA teachers integrate the use of space at Abundance Farm with their studies of the environment, agrarian religious traditions and tikkun olam; students get their “hands dirty” while working in the garden, pick crops and deliver them to the Northampton Survival Center, a nonprofit organization whose mission is dedicated to improving the quality of life for low-income individuals and families. For more information contact Rabbi Jacob Fine, Director of Abundance Farm.
