LGA emerged from a small group of parents who were motivated by a desire to provide an excellent education along with a strong, informed Jewish identity for their children. Searching for an alternative to existing options, they decided to create a Jewish day school in the Pioneer Valley. Since the first Kindergarten class launched in a rented room in 1996, LGA has grown into an open and diverse Jewish community, providing an outstanding and meaningful education from Kindergarten through 6th grade.
