Lander-Grinspoon Academy Hires Director of Student Services

The Lander-Grinspoon Academy (LGA) is pleased to welcome Rosemary Reidy (she/her) as its Director of Student Services. Rosemary brings over nineteen years of experience in special education, working with students with disabilities in varying capacities. She also brings a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the field, and a diverse background in education, including administration, grant writing and strategic planning.

Rosemary has extensive experience with all the tasks associated with assessing student needs, implementing Individual Education Programs, designing instruction for those with special needs, use of assistive technology, collecting and analyzing behavior data and monitoring specialized equipment. Most recently, Rosemary served as the Director of Pupil Services, for the Auburn Public School district.

LGA Principal Deborah Bromberg-Seltzer shares, “LGA could not be more excited that Rosemary is joining our team. She brings exactly the experience we need at exactly the right time. In addition to her academic and professional background, Rosemary has already proven to be a warm, capable, passionate colleague. Our administration, students and teachers are fortunate to have her expertise and her caring presence.”

Rosemary says, “From my interview, My first impression of Lander Grinspoon is that of a truly wonderful school with an incredibly dedicated, knowledgeable, kind and friendly staff. I am very thankful to have been chosen for this role; everyone I’ve met has been so welcoming… it feels like a such a great fit already. It’s very exciting! As I join the dynamic LGA team and community, I very much look forward to meeting all of our students and their families and getting the work started!”

Rosemary has lived in Central Massachusetts for her whole life. She has family in South Hadley, and she and her husband have two sons with wonderful wives, two granddaughters, and one grandson. Her family fills her life with so much joy and laughter! She also enjoys flower gardening and spending time on Cape Cod.
